Stayed in the family suite for one night. Was disappointed as upon arrival the main bedroom was extremely dusty, many large cobwebs on ceiling and carpet was quite dirty. The bathroom bin had not been emptied from previous guests but the towels were clean. The kitchen had a kettle full of water left in it and the fridge smelled badly of sour milk that had not been cleaned up from a previous spillage. There was also no hot water.

I should have checked the reviews before booking but we've stayed in the the past and it was ok.There was no one there when we arrived, but in fairness it does ask on your check in form what time you'd be arriving, we called the number on the door and someone came out in ten minutes so no harm doneWe had to pay on arrival and were asked what we wanted for breakfast, kind of in the spot, a bit unprofessional in my opinion.Anyway we were taken to to our room and keys explained and if we needed anything just call, so all good there, a really nice lady.Rooms, well .. tired not brilliantly clean, eg cobwebs hanging above your tea cups, tea bags from a catering bag so if they'd been there for more than a day they'd be dusty too. The pillows were the most uncomfortable things I've ever "slept" on although our bed was fine.We thought the radiator wasn't working and when we told the lady on the bar she immediately bought up an electric one, so I can't fault the service we received, which was a shame, if the place was as good as the people working there it'd be a goldmine! We had poached egg for breakfast the brown sauce must have been really old as It had gone watery, even after I'd shaken it, no orange juice, fresh oranges still in their netting.Really poor, and I know it was "only" £90 for a double I felt a bit ripped off.So sad to see the decline of a once lovely place.

Nice hotel close to the old railway station and not far away from the centre of Bridgnorth.Friendly staff, traditional English breakfast, a wide range of tapped beers and ales.Recommendable Hotel with fair rates.

Very busy, live music on, we were found a table and 4 chairs outside even though the pub was rammed. Still were able to get served quickly by very friendly staff, great atmosphere. Top pub & Inn as there are en -suite room to stay in.
