The George Bridgnorth is family-owned inn, hotel and restaurant and was totally renovated in 2009 to an extremely high standard. There is a very comfortable bar, snug and lounge featuring exposed beams, real fires and a separate dining area.

 

Throughout the year The George Inn offers quality hotel standard accommodation and bed & breakfast in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Ideal for tourists and business people visiting Shropshire.

Good Food We offer good locally sourced food, with a wide selection of wines and real cask ales. Meals are served between 12 noon and 2.30pm and 6.30pm to 9.30pm Monday to Saturday. Sunday lunches are served between 12 noon and 4pm with Sunday suppers from 5.30pm to 9pm.	Accommodation  We offer four-star inn accommodation and bed & breakfast to a very high standard. All bedrooms are non-smoking, en-suite, with TV, free Wi-Fi and tea-making facilities. Double rooms have king-sized beds, two with bath and shower.
Entertainment There's regular free live music and events in the evenings.	Functions For a function, birthday, anniversary or to celebrate any occasion, The George team are always happy to help make your experience a special one.

 

Parking

Car Parking is available opposite the George Inn at the railway car park. There is a small overspill car park a few yards further on the left through the small trading estate. For two other pay car parks, take the second right-hand turn at the mini island and keep right into Listley Street. A short walk back to The George is via Railway Street, alongside the town library. There are also spaces for unloading at the front of The George.
